AAWR in 3-D

The Artists Archives of the Western Reserve (AAWR) announces its first exhibition for 2010, The AAWR in 3D. The show will run from Friday, January 15, 2010 through Friday, February 19, 2010. The public is invited to attend the opening reception on Friday, January 15th from 5 pm to 8 pm. AAWR gallery’s regular hours of operation are Wednesday through Friday from 10 am to 4 pm and Saturday from 12 noon to 4 pm.

The AAWR in 3D Show will be exhibiting three-dimensional works from archived artists reflecting a recent trend in moviemaking. Featured artists include the work of Ruth Bercaw, John Clague, David E. Davis, David Kaplan, Mario Kujawski, Charlotte Lees, George Roby, Marvin Smith, and Nancy Underhill. The exhibition will feature various work ranging in shape, size, and subject matter m selected archived artists. We welcome all to experience AAWR archived artwork in 3-D and enjoy free cinema themed treats and refreshments at the reception. No special eye wear necessary to view these artworks in full three dimensional perspectives

We think that the works presented display the creativity and full breadth of talent of the prominent Ohio artists chosen to be archived”, said AAWR Executive Director Kenneth Goerg.
